Introduction: If you are managing or going to have EU funded grants, this course will familiarize you with the mechanism of grant management. It will cover all the aspects of EU grant management from project designing to narrative reporting. You will be able to understand the HOW and WHEN of different stages of grant management including clarity about eligible costs and how to modify the contract. This training will also cover the contractual obligations and legal implications.

- Role of actors and management modes
- Grant contract Basic Rules
- Understanding the grant contract
- Managing any changes to the contract
- Undertaking any procurement
- Ensuring the EU’s rules on ‘Visibility’ are applied
- Readiness for any monitoring visits
- Reporting on EU funds
Objectives of the Training: This training aims to help recipients of EU funds for external actions to comply with the contractual conditions & guidelines provided in the special and general conditions of the EU grants contract. It will also try to provide practical information on the implementation and procedures related to grant & Procurement management in line with EU regulations.
